SARASWATI
Saraswati means “watery” in the ancient Vedas. She symbolizes the feminine energy that flows through everything. Like a river, she flows through us. She is described as a Hindu deity, but that is simply a way to create a clear focal point at first. The mantra is intended to strengthen the concentrating energy of knowledge, art, music, poetry, wisdom, rhetoric, writing, and literature within the will’s point of focus. Everything arises naturally from the all-pervading water of the primordial ocean, the source of all life.
I translated 13 mantras from Sanskrit into musical compositions. I especially tried to use a ney flute to lead the music into voices, and those into choirs — like water flowing through energetic rivers.
This track is one of the most listened to in this series so far.
Maho Arnah Saraswati Pracheyati
Ketuna Dhiyo Vishwa Virajati
– Maho – great, vast
– Arnah – ocean, flood, stream
– Saraswati – the flowing one (energy point of wisdom, speech, music, arts)
– Pracheyati – is awakened, inspired, brought forth
– Ketuna – with the banner (or with light/guidance/sign)
– Dhiyo – intellects, minds, thoughts
– Vishwa – all, universal

I hope this mantra helps you activate the inner Saraswati within you.
May all beings become free from stagnation,
